Five veteran cyclists associated with the Long Road Home fund raiser are accompanied by dozens of local area rider in support of their cause as they enter the Base Lake for formal festivities hosted by the Offutt Advisory Council and Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., Aug. 30. The Long Road Home project consists of Veteran cyclists that are riding from Tacoma, Wash. to Washington D.C. over a ninety day period to raise awareness and funds concerning veterans’ affairs.
