Burn scars along the mountainsides can be seen from the 101 Freeway Feb. 27 in Santa Barbara County, California. The burn scars are remnants of the Thomas Wildfire, one of the largest wildfires in California’s history, which burnt more than 425 square miles between Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
