British Royal Navy Lt. Cmdr. Nathan J. Gray climbs into the cockpit of an AV-8B Harrier before his final flight at Marine Attack Training Squadron 203, Aug. 5. The native of the United Kingdom will go down in history as the last British Harrier pilot to fly the aircraft. Gray’s flight suit will be retired to the British Museum in London. Gray said he feels excited to be flying his last flight and going home to the U.K., but he is saddened he will be leaving the family he has found here in the Marines.
