Christopher Jones, a private first class assigned to the fire-suppression team of Counter Drug Task Force, extinguishes a small grass fire with his supervisor, Sgt. Joshua Purnhagen. The fire was started by a smoke grenade used to mark a landing zone during training at Yakima Training Center, July 31. The soldiers quickly responded to fires in support of training conducted by the Washington National Guard to prepare Drug Enforcement Administration agents for service in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
