Marines and sailors with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, launch combat rubber raiding craft holding the diver propulsion devices off the beaches of Camp Schwab Aug. 9. The Marines are trained to cache the DPD out of sight once they have reached their objective and return to the device after actions-on-objectives for extraction.
