U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Patrick Franks, a Las Vegas, Nevada native with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit’s Service Pistol Team, stands at the ready position during The Practical Event at 2018 Bianchi Cup in Columbia, Missouri May 25. After the three-day, four-event action pistol competition that drew more than 160 competitors from eight countries and 33 states, Franks claimed the Production Division Champion title. The U.S. Army Soldier also holds the 2015 and 2016 Metallic Division Champion titles, and the 2017 Production Division Silver medalist title.
