    ARLINGTON, Va. (March 15, 2017) – Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Jared Schinse, left, assigned to Fleet Replacement Center (FRC) Mid-Atlantic in Patuxent River, Md., discusses innovative 3D printing solutions and cost reduction plans to manufacture flight deck gear during the Department of the Navy’s 2017 3D Print-a-Thon expo at the Pentagon. Twenty DoN organizations - including scientists and engineers from the Naval Research and Development Establishment, maintenance operations, and Marines and Sailors from multiple commands – presented items produced through the use of Additive Manufacturing technology.
