A member of the 7th Engineer Dive Team secures the helmet of second class diver Spc. Kevin Carriker, 7th EDT, and a Lancaster, Calif., native. Carriker will spend up to four hours underwater being tested on his skills to become a salvage diver. As the 7th EDT mission extends to different parts of Third Army’s AOR, training and development of Army divers remains a priority for maintaining readiness and sustaining security throughout the region.
