Staff Sgt. William Cochran, salvage diver, 7th Engineer Dive Team, and a Ports Mouth, Ohio native, prepares diving equipment for salvage diver qualifications. The divers will spend up to four hours underwater being tested on their skills to become a salvage diver. As the 7th EDT mission extends to different parts of Third Army’s AOR, training and development of Army divers remains a priority for maintaining readiness and sustaining security throughout the region.
