Staff Sgt. William Cochran, salvage diver, 7th Engineer Dive Team, and a Ports Mouth, Ohio native, monitors the progress of second class divers underwater during the salvage diver qualifications. The divers will spend up to four hours underwater being tested on their skills to become a salvage diver. As the 7th EDT mission extends to different parts of Third Army’s AOR, training and development of Army divers remains a priority for maintaining readiness and sustaining security throughout the region.
