Crane Army Ammunition Activity employees operate the Mobile Inspection Workshop to more efficiently inspect ammunition stored at and shipped to CAAA. Inspectors can examine munitions right at the storage bunker, avoiding the cost of transporting ammunition from the bunkers to the main inspection building. This helps Crane Army provide even greater value to the Warfighter by completing inspections more quickly and with fewer personnel. Crane Army specializes in conventional munitions support for U.S. Army and Joint Force readiness, including production, demilitarization, transportation and storage.
