Master Gunnery Sgt. James Hunter, the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 40 maintenance chief, and his recently promoted son, Cpl. Nathan Hunter, a 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) embarkation clerk, are currently deployed together at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. James pinned on the rank of corporal almost exactly 27 years before his son while he was deployed to the western Pacific.
