U.S. Marines with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadrons from across the Marine Corps attended an Additive Manufacturing and Innovation Summit on Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., June 28, 2018. The summit is a way for Marines and Sailors to share their knowledge on lessons-learned, their best practices, acquisitions processes and their training to ensure they continue to grow just as technology grows. "It is very entry-level equipment that is going to help them innovate and have a database of parts that can be printed to go on aeronautical equipment," said Maj. Melissa Depriest.
