802nd Emergency Services Team personnel, Bexar County Sherriff's Office Deputies (BCSO), S.W.A.T. instructors, and 802nd Security Readiness Group Command staff pose for a group photo after tactics and live-fire shooting drills are completed at an undisclosed location Mar 7, 2018. Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Airmen and BCSO Deputies participated in a 5-day Advanced Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) training course taught by members of the Alamo Area Council of Governments Regional Law Enforcement Academy, which aims to strengthen dynamic incident response techniques and build effective law enforcement teams. Officers certified as trainers from police departments around the State of Texas and partner states teach the course, which serves as a tool to train advanced dynamic response tactics for defenders and an opportunity to foster partnerships between local law enforcement members and JBSA defenders.
