NORFOLK, Va. (July 9, 2018) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Aaron Puffenbarger, from Sugar Grove, West Virginia, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) medical department, receives his certificate of appointment to the rank of petty officer second class from Capt. Richard McCormack, Ford’s commanding officer. Puffenbarger was promoted following his selection for the Meritorious Advancement Program.
