NORFOLK, Va. (July 9, 2018) Aviation Support Equipment Technician 2nd Class Anthony Sherman, from Jacksonville, Florida, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) aviation intermediate maintenance department, receives his certificate of appointment to the rank of petty officer second class from Capt. Richard McCormack, Ford’s commanding officer. Sherman was promoted following his selection for the Meritorious Advancement Program.
