    180718-N-SB520-2026 BELLOWS AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii (July 18, 2018) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 2nd Class John Bozarth, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 3, removes the weapons and explosives discovered from a cache during a training exercise with other international service members at Bellows Air Force base during a Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise, July 18. The exercise is intended to raise strategic coordination between nations to accomplish ordinance disposal assignments. Twenty-five nations, more than 45 ships and submarines, about 200 aircraft, and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 27 to Aug. 2 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. The world’s largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security of the world’s oceans.
