CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait –U.S Air Force Master Sgt. Amanda Tokarz, a division weather operations non-commissioned officer with Task Force Spartan, completes her final lap during the first event of the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (GAFPB) qualification on July 9. The 100-meter swim, requires the soldier to swim in uniform in less than four minutes. The testing for the GAFPB must be administered by a qualified German physical training instructor. If earned, U.S. soldiers may wear the badge on their dress uniform. (U.S. Army photo by Lt. Col. Keith Hickox)
