Sgt. Joshua Gould of Brentwood, Calif., a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) non-commissioned officer (NCO) with the 95th Civil Support Team, flies through the agility sprint portion of the ‘mystery event’, a part of the Best Warrior Competition at Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif., Sept. 14, 2011. After completing a timed, 5.2 mile ruck march, competitors were challenged to perform a slightly abbreviated version of the new Army Combat Readiness Test (ACRT). The ACRT will soon replace the current Army Physical Fitness Test and instead of the pushups, sit ups and a timed two-mile run, soldiers will be tested on other events devised to more accurately test their strength, endurance and mobility needed for warrior tasks and battle drills.
