The Combat Infantryman's Association honored both the Oklahoma Army National Guard and the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team with statuette of the famed "Follow Me" statue, also known as "Iron Mike," that stands outside of the U.S. Army's infantry school at Fort Benning, Georgia. The award was presented by Col. (ret.) J.L. Rhodes, of the Combat Infantryman's Association, for the sacrifices made by combat infantrymen of the OKARNG and the 45th IBCT.
