NORFOLK, Va. (Aug. 10, 2018) Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Jason Pastrick, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) media department, gives a presentation on the ship's memorial room to guests attending Ford's change of command ceremony at Vista Point onboard Naval Station Norfolk. The change of command ceremony is a time-honored Naval tradition in which the transfer of responsibility, authority, and accountability occurs from one individual to another individual.
