Two hornets and an Osprey with Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron fly over Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., as a part of an aerial flight formation exercise August 12, 2018. “I get to see the world from the sky,” said Sgt. Derek Levi, MV22 crew chief, Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, “While I work on the ground, I get to work on the aircraft while watching young Marines become experts in their field and leaders of others.” The exercise was completed as a form of demonstration of the capabilities of the VMM-165.
