Fort Bliss, TX – Specialist Gizela Lupescu, Combat Medic of the 230th Brigade Support Battalion, reviews the items included in a medics bag to the Moldovan Soldiers imbedded in her unit. The Moldovan military is a part of National Guard Bureau’s State Partnership Program with the North Carolina National Guard. The 230th is part of the 30th Armored Brigade's eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) exercise. The exercise is one of the 30th largest exercise in recent history, with over 4,000 Citizen Soldiers from North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Minnesota, and the country of Moldova will hone their combat skills of “Shoot, Move, Communicate, and Sustain”.
