A commemorative poster designed in memory of the 100-year anniversary of the death of LT. Jarvis Offutt, whom Offutt AFB is named after. Offutt died while flying an S.E.5 biplane for the Royal Air Force during World War One. This image showcases LT. Offutt flying over the English Channel in his biplane with the 56th Flying Squadron crest next to his portrait. The commemorative posters were used in print and social media as well as local-area news broadcasts. Printed posters were given to Jarvis Offutt's grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were formally honored during the 2018 Defenders of Freedom Air and Space Show.
