STGCM(SW/IUSS) Andre A. Delarosa, from the USS Paul Ignatius (DDG-117) re-enlists in a morning ceremony held in front of family and members of his command aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB-64). The Wisconsin is an Iowa-Class Battleship that is moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia as a museum ship. The iconic turret #1 is a popular re-enlistment venue for area commands. Military Ceremonies aboard the ship are coordinated through the Hampton Roads Naval Museum’s Special Events Coordinator, Tom Dandes, and are done at no cost. To inquire, contact Thomas.Dandes@navy.mil or at (757) 322-3106.
