U.S. Marine Gunnery Sgt. Matthew R. Kolenc guides a UH-1Y Huey pilot to a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) on Marine Corps Outlying Landing Field Atlantic, N.C., Aug. 14, 2018. A FARP is a temporary station that rapidly refuels and arms aircraft allowing them to expedite the refueling process. Kolenc is an air traffic controller with the Marine Air Traffic Control Mobile Team, Marine Air Control Squadron 2, Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW).
