U.S. Marine Gunnery Sgt. Matthew R. Kolenc and Staff Sgt. Stephen J. Leskoven communicates with a UH-1Y Huey pilot on a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) at Marine Corps Outlying Landing Field Atlantic, N.C., Aug. 14, 2018. A FARP is a temporary station that rapidly refuels and arms aircraft allowing them to expedite the refueling process. Kolenc is an air traffic controller with the Marine Air Traffic Control Mobile Team, Marine Air Control Squadron 2, Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW). Leskoven is a team leader with Marine Wing Support Squadron 272, Marine Wing Support Group 27, 2nd MAW.
