The 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band marches past an American flag during the 2011 Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Air Show Oct. 1. This year’s air show theme is “A Salute to San Diego: Birthplace of Naval Aviation.” It features demonstrations by various civilian and military performers including the Blue Angels and the Marine Corps Air-Ground Task Force.
