(August 23, 2018) Electronic Technician (Submarine Communications) 2nd Class David Cheney, a native from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, currently serves as an instructor at Information Warfare Training Command Virginia Beach (IWTC), Learning Site Groton, Connecticut onboard Naval Submarine Base New London. In his current position, he teaches key management infrastructure (KMI) operating account managers the skills required to defend the United States’ most secure and vital information. Cheney has exclusively taught 58 students ranging from paygrades E-5 to O-3 through eight classes and with no student failures, all who have gone on to successfully manage over 200 KMI accounts.
