U.S. Army Corps of Engineers representatives from the Afghanistan Engineer District – North, Rex Mols, chief of quality assurance talks with Yousef A. Hayat, CEO and president of the Balchtar bank during a brief break Oct. 5, at a builder’s conference sponsored by the Afghanistan Builders Association at the Kabul, Serena Hotel. The Afghanistan Builders Association is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, established with the support of the USAID and construction companies in May 2004. ABA concentrates its efforts to facilitate construction activities for builders in Afghanistan construction communities.
