JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 4, 2018) – Lt. Allison Conforte, a clinical psychologist at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, discusses mental health with a sailor. Conforte, a native of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, says “Our mental health clinic is always ready to assist sailors. Suicide prevention is a Navy-wide mission that requires all sailors to be knowledgeable and willing to help fellow shipmates. Please use one of the many available resource, such as the Veterans Crisis Line (1-800-273-TALK), our Mental Health Clinic, and E.R. (for after-hour emergencies). Get yourself or your loved one the help that’s needed." (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
