U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Christopher B. Sutton, a fire finder radar operator from Kankakee, Ill., with Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 6th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Task Force Centaur, makes adjustments to a lightweight counter mortar radar system, Combat Outpost Chamkani, Sept. 15. Sutton, a 14-year Army veteran is entrusted with maintaining and operating the radar system, which is used to detect incoming mortars and to identify their firing location.
