U.S. Army Sgt. Raymond G. Green of Augusta, Ga., communications NCO with the 642nd Regional Support Group, was among the troops testing their chemical protective masks the hard way at Fort Pickett, Va., as part of the Mortuary Affairs Exercise Aug. 17, 2018. The room, which was filled with tear gas, demonstrates the effectiveness of protective equipment to Soldiers and then shows them what exposure feels like when they take off the masks.
