United States Marines, and soldiers receive their safety brief after loading their gear onto Landing Craft Unit 1659, which would take them back to the USS Oak Hill, Oct. 15, 2011. Marine Corps Special Purpose Marine Air and Ground Task Force finished the first phase of their subject matter expert exchange evolution with military members from the Colombian armed forces. Oak Hill is participating in Southern Partnership Station, an annual deployment of U.S. military training teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
