Members of Rotation 2 from the deployment-for-training project at the Brigadier General Kazio Veverskis Training Grounds in Kazlu Ruda, Lithuania, receive recognition from Lithuanian military officials Aug. 13, 2018, before their departure. The Pennsylvania Air National Guard troops, primarily from the 201st RED HORSE (Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers) and 271st Combat Communications Squadron, broke ground July 8, 2018, on a range project there. Together with their Lithuanian counterparts, the personnel have designed and are constructing an air-to-ground training range - slated for completion Sept. 11, 2018 - that will serve as vital training for Lithuanian and other NATO forces.
