Lance Cpl. Michael Christeas tightens a bolt inside a CH- 53 Sea Stallion tail disconnect while conducting corrosion control aboard the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) Oct. 7. Corrosion control is conducted to sustain optimal operation for the aircrafts participating in Exercise Trident Juncture 18. Trident Juncture is a NATO led exercise in which the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and the Air Combat Element will play a pivotal role as a sea-based MAGTF.
