A U.S. Air Force KC-135 boom operator assigned to the 28th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron operates provides fuel to a U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagle during an aerial refueling mission in support of Operation Inherent Resolve over Iraq, Oct. 5, 2018. The Eagle’s mission is to help ensure that the operations of U.S. and coalition forces on the ground and in the air are unimpeded by adversary aircraft.
