U.S. Marines review how to make nine-line calls on a radio during a communications exercise at the Jungle Warfare Training Center in Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 17, 2018. Nine-line calls are made when a Marine or multiple Marines are wounded and a request for evacuation and medical attention is needed immediately. Alpha Company, 7th Communication Battalion conducted the communications exercise to test their capabilities in providing communication services in field environments as well as train in jungle warfare tactics.
