U.S. Marines with a mobile training team from Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command's ground element teach members of the Peruvian Naval Infantry mounted weapons handling on a Peruvian amphibious assault vehicle in Lima, Peru, Oct. 24, 2018. The Marines spent several weeks in Peru , exchanging techniques and procedures on moving tactics, radio communication, and weapons handling with their Peruvian counterparts. The engagement is part of U.S. Southern Command's Enduring Promise initiative and reflects the U.S. enduring promise of friendship, partnership, and solidarity with the Americas.
