SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii (Nov. 6, 2018) - Sgt. 1st Class Ian Crawley, assigned to the Fort Campbell Warrior Transition Battalion competes in the wheelchair tennis finals during Pacific Regional Trials 2018, an adaptive sporting competition bringing together about 100 wounded, ill, and injured soldiers and veterans representing U.S. Army Regional Health Commands in the Atlantic, Central, and Pacific, and 12 Warrior Transition Battalions. Adaptive reconditioning activities such as wheelchair tennis are linked to a variety of benefits for wounded warriors, and assists in their overall rehabilitation and recovery.
