Lance Cpl. Shawn D. Turner stems the blood flow from a simulated casualty using improvised tourniquets during immediate action drills here Nov. 14. The Okinawa-based Marines from Combat Logistics Battalion 4 received instruction from weapons and tactics instructors with Tactical Readiness and Training during the immediate action drills. CLB-4 traveled to Marine Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms to participate in Enhanced Mojave Viper, a training exercise that will prepare them for their upcoming deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Turner is a motor transportation operator with CLB-4, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
