The initial Senior Non-commissioned Officer course for the Kosovo Security Forces was taught by their state partner Iowa National Guard, U.S. Army soldiers stationed as part of the NATO-led Kosovo Forces 14 rotation, and KSF personnel. The three week course was fashioned from the U.S. Army's training and doctrine command material for senior enlisted leaders. The Iowa National Guard assumed State Partnership status with Kosovo March 2011.
