Maj. Gen. Joseph F. Fil Jr., Multi-National Division-Baghdad and 1st Cavalry Division commanding general, prepares to give a coin to Pfc. Brian Paquette, Headquarters Company, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division July 4 at Forward Operating Base Loyalty in eastern Baghdad. Paquette, a native of Northville, Mich., received a coin from Fil for his efforts in aiding and transporting a wounded Soldier to the aid station after multiple mortar attacks. Fil paid the Soldiers of "Strike Force" a visit, thanking them for their service to their country on its birthday.
