HUNTINGTON, WV (July 17, 2018) -- Maj. Gen. Mark Toy, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Great Lakes and Rivers Division, hands the USACE Flag over to Col. Jason Evers during an Assumption of Command ceremony as Col. Evers assumes the command of District Commander for the USACE Huntington District. Col. Evers is now responsible for carrying out the District’s mission within the Ohio River Basin, which includes more than 300 navigable miles of the Ohio River in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio, plus nine major tributaries.
