U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class John Bustamante handles a habu snake during a preventive medicine course as part of a capabilities display Nov. 29, 2018 at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The preventive medicine snake relocation course allowed Sailors to practice safely relocating reptiles from areas where they pose a threat. Sailors with 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, established a Role II capabilities display to give service members the opportunity to view their full facilities. Preventive medicine technicians displayed and offered courses on their food and water sanitation test, snake relocation and entomology surveillance capabilities.
