Two Spur Candidates from the 82nd Airborne Division carry a weighted rucksack while moving between evaluation lanes Tuesday, November 26 on Fort Bragg. The candidates were participating in a Spur Ride honoring the heritage of the 73rd Cavalry Regiment by testing the candidates’ grit and determination over a 36-hour period where they were evaluated on their knowledge of regimental history, tactics, medical skills and airborne proficiency.
