AGANA HEIGHTS, Guam (Nov. 30, 2018) — U.S. Naval Base Guam Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Rommel Magan demonstrates how to use a radio in an ambulance at Fire Station No. 4 at U.S. Naval Hospital Guam, Nov. 30. Rommel is the first local Guam firefighter to earn the National Registry-EMT-Paramedic certification, the highest medical qualification an emergency responder can attain. He completed the nine-month course in roughly six months at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and finished first in his class.
