Linda Singh, left, the adjutant general of the Maryland National Guard, presents a gift to Marina Pendeš, the Bosnia and Herzegovina minister of defense, commemorating the 15-year partnership between the Maryland Guard and the Bosnia and Herzegovina armed forces as part of the Department of Defense’s State Partnership Program, Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018. The SPP pairs up National Guard elements with partner nations worldwide. Begun in 1993, the program now includes 75 partnerships with 81 countries.
