Ted Carter, 62nd Superintendent of the United States Naval Academy, address Turner Construction employees and U.S. Naval Academy staff during the topping out ceremony of Hopper Hall. Hopper Hall will include classrooms, teaching and research laboratories, lecture halls, offices, multi-purpose space, an observatory, loading dock, and research and testing tank in support of the engineering and weapons labs. Hopper Hall was named after Grace Hopper, an American computer scientist and United States Navy Rear Admiral. The construction is expected to be complete by September 2020.
