U.S. Army Pvt. Kelly Roark and an Iraqi interpreter maintain tight security of potential Iraqi police recruits waiting in the hot mid-day sun, June 17. Roark and and his fellow Soldiers are members of the Army's 23rd Military Police (MP) Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Brigade, Fort Bragg, N.C. Along with Iraqi national police representatives they processed over two hundred and fifty applicants in the Lutafiyah area of Baghdad, Iraq.
